1. Who Is Responsible

IPTVV Canada (“IPTVV”, “we”, “us”) is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. We handle it in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for residents of Quebec, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25). This policy applies to this website, our forms and checkout, our emails and our support.

2. Our Principles

We collect only what we need to provide the service you asked for, we tell you what we collect and why, we do not sell or rent personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we delete it when it is no longer needed.

3. What We Collect

We collect what you type into our forms and a small amount of technical information.

Free trial request: your name, email address, phone number, country, the device you want to test, your preferred player app (optional), your preferred language and anything you write in the message box.

Order at checkout: your name, email address, phone number, country, main device, preferred app (optional), notes (optional), preferred language, and the plan, term, number of screens and price you chose. We then record your order number, whether and when your payment arrived, when your subscription was activated, when it ends, and the login we issued to you.

Support message: your first and last name, email address, phone number (optional), topic, message and preferred language.

Reseller application: your name, email address, phone number, country, whether you already sell IPTV, and your message (optional).

Emails: a copy of each email we send you (order confirmation, payment instructions, trial confirmation, login, reminders, replies) and its delivery status.

Payments: we do not collect or store card numbers or bank account numbers. Interac e-Transfers are processed by your bank and ours; we only see the amount, the sender name and the message you add (your order number). If another payment method is offered at checkout, the provider that processes it has its own privacy policy, and we receive only a confirmation and the amount.

Technical information: to limit abuse of our forms, our server converts your IP address into a one-way salted code (a hash) and stores that code with your request, together with the date and time. We do not store your IP address itself and cannot recover it from the code. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type) to run and protect its network.

Information we do not collect: we do not ask for or store government identifiers, dates of birth, precise location, or the content you watch. We do not profile you or make automated decisions about you.

5. Cookies And Local Storage

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, pixels or trackers, and does not follow you across other websites. Fonts are served from this website, so no third-party font service receives your IP address. The pricing switches on our subscription pages remember your choice in the page address, not in a cookie. The only cookie we set is a session cookie for our own staff dashboard, which visitors and customers never receive. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where the law requires, ask for your consent first.

6. Who Can See Your Information

Inside IPTVV, only authorized staff who handle orders, trials and support can see your information, through a password-protected dashboard with individual accounts. Each sign-in is logged.

7. Service Providers

We share information only with the providers that help us run the service, and only what they need:

  • Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts this website, runs our forms and stores our database;
  • our email delivery provider, which sends the emails described above on our behalf;
  • payment providers, where a method other than Interac e-Transfer is offered at checkout.

These providers act on our instructions under contracts that require them to protect your information. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

8. Transfers Outside Canada

Our providers may store or process information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States, where it can be subject to the laws of those countries and accessible to their authorities under lawful requests. We choose providers that offer strong security and contractual protections. By using the service, you acknowledge these transfers.

9. Disclosure Required By Law

We may disclose personal information when the law requires it, for example to comply with a court order, a subpoena or a lawful request from a Canadian authority, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public from fraud or harm. We disclose only what is required.

10. How We Protect It

  • Every connection to this website is encrypted (HTTPS).
  • Your messages, notes and order details, our internal notes and the text of the emails we send are encrypted in our database.
  • Our forms accept requests only from this website and limit how many requests one visitor can send in a given time.
  • Staff access is through individual password-protected accounts, and failed sign-in attempts are limited and logged.
  • IP addresses are stored only as one-way hashes.

No system is perfectly secure. If we discover a breach that creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as the law requires.

11. How Long We Keep It

Information Kept for
Order and payment records The length of your subscription, then as long as Canadian tax and accounting rules require (generally 6 years after the end of the tax year)
Free trial requests Up to 12 months after the trial, so we can answer follow-up questions and prevent repeat requests
Support messages and reseller applications Up to 12 months after the last reply
Copies of emails sent The same period as the request they relate to
Hashed IP addresses and timestamps Up to 12 months, for abuse prevention
Staff dashboard sign-in attempts 1 day

When the period ends we delete the information or make it anonymous. You can ask us to delete it sooner (section 13), unless we must keep it by law.

12. Children

The service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you and learn how it is used and to whom it has been disclosed;
  • correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete it, unless we must keep it by law (for example, records of a paid order);
  • withdraw your consent to a use that relies on consent, which may mean we can no longer provide the service;
  • receive a copy of the information you gave us in a structured, commonly used format (residents of Quebec);
  • complain to a supervisory authority.

To exercise a right, send your request through our support form from the email address you gave us, choosing “Something else” as the topic, so that we can confirm it is you. We respond within 30 days, free of charge, and tell you if we need more time or cannot fully comply and why. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information.

This website links to other websites, such as app makers’ sites and app stores. They have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

15. Privacy Officer And Contact

Our Privacy Officer is responsible for this policy and for answering your questions and requests. Reach them through our support form (topic “Something else”); your message goes to the Privacy Officer directly.

16. Changes To This Policy

We will update this policy when the way we handle personal information changes, and the date at the top shows when it last changed. Where a change significantly affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you by email or on this website before it takes effect.
